Passive solar home design
For our project our job was to create a solar home. We had to do six projects to be at the stem we are at now. We had to make a home made solar water heater. We used a bottle witch was used to store water and a tube for transporting the water into the heater and for the heater we used tin foil, cardboard box, copper tubing, and saran wrap. The tin foil was used to reflect heat go heat up the tube. The cardboard box was to hold the heat and objects inside. The copper tubing collects the heat to heat up the water inside as it passes through. In the box we needed to to find a way to hold the heat more and longer, we decided to use saran wrap. It lets heat pass through, but still keeps heat in.
In our next project we had to create a house model to show the affects to how daylight will be most effective in our house.
